THE TESTS
8/20/13-
I wanted to drink a beer, but we had just started 'trying', so I decided to take a test.
Result: POSITIVE
8/21/13-
I present Kaleb with not 1, not 2, but 6 different pregnancy tests
Result: ALL POSITIVE
**but the line is so faint, are we sure it's there, what does this MEAN?!**
8/22/13-
Buy another store bought test and decide to take it in a couple days, when the hormone is stronger... just to be sure
Result: Couldn't wait. Took it that night. It was VERY POSITIVE
OK so we are pregnant?! omg, Omg, OMG... now what?!
TELLING THE PARENTS:
9/19/13-
Judy and Ron (Ashley's folks) are in town for Ashley's birthday. This also happened to be the day of our 8 week appointment. Surprised folks with a grandparents day card:
Response:
Mom- "I don't have my glasses on, but I'm sure it says 'love, Lizzie, Luna, & Frye"
Me- UGH
Dad- (Reading card contents out loud) "Surprise! Ready for #6??...ummmm" Then I whipped out the Ultrasound, with which Dad replies "Oh Crap!"
**Happy tears
9/28/13-
Mark and Debbie (Kaleb's parents) are in SLC for a conference. We give them a grandparent's day card.
Response:
Mark- "This is the best news of the decade! I can't wait to teach the kid the banjo"
Debbie- I'm not really sure what she said, or if she spoke. Surprisingly, she was the only future grandparent without tears (they came later)....
BABY LOVE- (friends and family have been so generous already!)
Colleen has guaranteed a very well-dressed baby:Aunt Jenny started a library
We also struck gold with some wonderful hand-me-down furniture from Kaleb's advisor!!
We've loved the outpouring of support and generosity from all of our friend's and family so far. It's great! EVERYONE should have a baby!

No movement, YET!

2.5 pounds weight gain (at last appt... might be closer to 3.5 or 4)
Kaleb had a dream we named our baby Cliff--- maybe we are having a boy?! (Cliff is not on the name list)
