Had a dream I chased down a girl scout in a movie theater for a box of thin mint cookies...  Naturally, the next day at the grocery store I invested in the next best thing...

It's been cold here.  Really cold.  Have a feeling this will be a long, snowy, cold winter!  But the saddest thing about winter is sunset before 5pm.

Baby goes to Vegas (18 week update)

2013 called for a Heinrich Thanksgiving (Miller Christmas will come in a few weeks)... and what better place to give thanks than Las Vegas!

This 18 week picture was taken the wednesday BEFORE thanksgiving, but I had a rather large lunch... you can make your own assumptions on % real baby and % food baby proportions...

We stayed at the Wyndham hotel, just off the strip and a block from the Hard Rock Hotel.  Since Grandpa (Carl) Heinrich is awesome, and the Iowa racing and gaming commissioner, we got a sweet tour of the HRH (including celebrity suites, the spa, and the 'rehab pool').  To top it off we got a reserved table to see Jenny McCarthy's comedy tour at one of the HRH clubs... can you say VIP?

And really, what's Vegas without a good show?  On our last night we went to KA (Cirque du Soleil) inside of the MGM.  Great show with AWESOME seats... Here is a family pic right before we went in!

A convenient and awesome suprise- Got to see one of my favorite friends Amy Cummings!! We met at Caesars and laughed about our past times in Vegas together!

To say the least, Baby H had a wonderful time in Vegas with great food, great company, and great entertainment.  Don't worry baby, you can go back in 21 years or so... :)
